Original Wolfrace Slot Mag Wheels – Complete Set – Lotus Esprit S1

Extremely rare complete set of original Wolfrace Slot Mag wheels for the Lotus Esprit S1.

These wheels are one of the most distinctive and important visual features of the early Esprit. Their deep-dish design and staggered front-to-rear widths are integral to the original appearance and stance of the S1, and finding a complete usable set today is becoming increasingly difficult.

Original S1 Wheel Sizes

• Front: 6J x 14
• Rear: 7J x 14

The wider rear wheels are part of the original Lotus specification and give the S1 its characteristic rear stance.

This set was removed from a 1977 Lotus Esprit S1 and has already undergone extensive professional preparation:

• Professionally straightened
• Chemically stripped to remove the previous finish
• Vapor blasted to thoroughly clean and restore the aluminum surface
• Supplied in bare aluminum, ready for the final finish of the purchaser’s choice

The major restoration work has already been completed while leaving the new owner free to choose the final appearance appropriate for their car, whether polished, machined, clear coated, painted, or otherwise finished.

These wheels are intentionally being sold unfinished and should receive an appropriate protective finish before installation.
