My journey with classic cars began when I was just 10 years old. My brother had purchased an old Alfa Romeo, and its engine sat untouched in our garage for a long time. One day, I decided to take it apart to understand how it worked, igniting a lifelong passion for the engineering of classic cars. Throughout high school, I worked on classic cars and took a job at a high-end engine rebuild company called Precision Automotive. There, I learned to disassemble various engines, magnaflux crankshafts, and replace freeze plugs, among other skills. I pursued a degree in engineering because it aligned perfectly with my analytical mindset.
After college, I became a civil engineer, obtained my professional engineering license, and worked as a consulting engineer. Despite my professional path, my passion for classic cars never waned. I restored many beautiful vehicles over the years, honing my skills and attention to detail. Now, I am embarking on the next leg of my journey, combining my engineering background with my love for classic cars at West-Cam Classic Performance.
